WSS Redpoint advises the IT startup qbilon GmbH on the seed financing round by Bayern Kapital and family offices

In the seed financing round, Bayern Kapital and the Bavarian family offices Vetos GmbH and DI Beteiligungs-GmbH are investing in the Augsburg-based IT startup qbilon.

The company, founded in 2019, was set up by the computer scientists Dr Simon Lohmüller, Dr Melanie Langermeier, Dr Thomas Driessen and Dr Julian Kienberger. qbilon’s software automatically maps hybrid IT landscapes, enabling individual analyses across all levels. Practically at the push of a button, users are given an overview of all assets in the IT landscape, such as servers, software services or cloud applications. At the same time, potential savings, bottlenecks and security risks are highlighted.

The stated aims of the investment include in particular further technical development, additional analysis functions and new areas of application.

qbilon was advised on behalf of WSS Redpoint by lawyer Peter Siedlatzek.
