The ECC is an independent student initiative. The Cologne-based association supports those interested in founding a startup as well as female founders. It acts as an interface between studies and startups and helps students to found a startup. WSS Redpoint has been a sponsoring partner of the ECC since 2016, advising it on strategic development and holding regular workshops.
The startup association NRWalley is the mouthpiece for startups in NRW. The association is a contact point for startups and founders and represents the interests of the entire startup ecosystem in NRW vis-à-vis legislation, administration, science, research and the public through events, networking and public relations. WSS Redpoint belongs to the circle of start-up promoters alongside other well-known companies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, EY or NRW.Bank.
The Rhineland Pitch at Startplatz in Cologne is the largest startup pitch competition in Germany. Young innovative startups can pitch their business ideas to investors, companies and interested parties. WSS Redpoint has been a sponsoring partner of the Rhineland Pitch since its inception and supports the format through workshops.
Founders Foundation educates the next generation of B2B tech entrepreneurs and builds a founder-centric B2B startup ecosystem. The education is based on the holistic and methodical Founders Foundation Education Model, which maps the entire startup lifecycle in various programs. WSS Redpoint hosts workshops with Founders Foundation as part of the Accelerator program and is available as a mentor.
DIGITALHUB.DE is the central contact point for digital topics in the entire Bonn/Rhein-Sieg region. In addition to a wide variety of digital events, the hub is a development and meeting place for digital startups, companies, science as well as research. WSS Redpoint is available here as a mentor to the Hub and organizes various workshops with them.
The Accelerator at Startplatz in Cologne prepares startups for investments in a special 4-month program. Founders are provided with know-how and a broad network. The focus is on early-stage tech startups. WSS Redpoint supports the accelerator as a mentoring partner in the form of consultation hours and workshops.
The BMWi's startup competition is aimed at people interested in setting up a business and startups in the ICT sector, such as the energy industry, healthcare, the IT and data industry, the mobility sector, the agricultural sector, the cultural and creative industries, and schools and education. Peter Siedlatzek supports the startup competition as a coach.
The Accelerator was founded by the University of Duisburg-Essen, University of Cologne and Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Technology and knowledge-based startups from the Rhine-Ruhr region are supported by regional industry partners as well as startup promoters in the form of coaching, mentoring and qualification offers. Our lawyers act as coaches in the Accelerator.
Der Accelerator wurde von der Universität Duisburg-Essen, Universität zu Köln und Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf gegründet. Technologie- und wissensbasierte Startups aus der Rhein-Ruhr-Region werden durch regionale Industriepartner sowie Gründungsförderer in Form von Coachings, Mentorings und Qualifizierungsangeboten unterstützt. In 2019, the University of Münster was awarded the title "Excellence Start-up Center.NRW" by the state of NRW. Since then, REACH has been one of six funded Excellence Start-up Centers in NRW and is supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy with a project volume of around 20 million euros. WSS Redpoint organizes legally dressed workshops for participants of the Accelerator Program.
