WSS Redpoint advises Scompler in a EUR 7 million financing round.

WSS Redpoint advises the B2B SaaS startup Scompler on a financing round of EUR 7 million by Reimann Investors, neosfer (early-stage investor of Commerzbank) and Bayern Kapital (venture capital company of the Free State of Bavaria).

Scompler offers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution for strategic content management (SCOM) processes in companies. By combining a software solution with strategy consulting, Scompler enables content to be organised across channels and projects as a structured editorial and topic plan and subsequently published. Customers of the company, which was founded in 2018, include Merck, Deutsche Post DHL, ADAC, Commerzbank, AOK, Fridays for Future and UNICEF.

Scompler is using the financing to strengthen its team. In addition, its leading position as a ‘Content Command Center’ in the German-speaking region is to be extended internationally, and interfaces to other technologies, for example from Microsoft, Adobe, Google or Staffbase, are to be expanded.

Björn Bröhl (Managing Director, Scompler): ‘Working with WSS was highly efficient and well-founded. Thanks to the very personal support, even complex matters could be clarified simply and quickly. We look forward to continuing to work together on legal matters.’

On the current financing round, Peter Siedlatzek (lead, corporate law), Björn Brücher (corporate) and Bonny Kern (IT law) advised on behalf of WSS Redpoint. The WSS Redpoint team was supported on employment law by Martin Eisenbeis (Partner, Trebeck & von Broich).

WSS Redpoint has advised Scompler since its seed financing in 2020.
