Clinomic GmbH is receiving growth financing of around EUR 7 million from a consortium of private individuals and family offices from Germany and Austria.
Clinomic is an Aachen-based medtech startup shaping the intensive care medicine of the future. The company was founded in 2019 as a spin-off of RWTH Aachen by the intensive care physicians Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Lukas Martin and Dr. med. Arne Peine.
With an intelligent, voice-controlled assistance system for the intensive care unit, the aim is to revolutionise the treatment of critically ill patients by combining translational medical research, data science and computational intelligence.
Artificial intelligence algorithms support doctors and medical staff in making precise decisions, in evidence-based treatment and in the efficient use of their time, directly at the patient’s bedside.
Clinomic is using the current financing round for the company’s further growth.
WSS Redpoint has advised Clinomic since 2020. Björn Brücher acted as lead counsel on the financing round.
