WSS Redpoint advises the Cologne-based tech startup Circonomit on its seed financing round of EUR 2.8 million, led by Vorwerk Ventures. The venture capital firms Fund F and Push VC are also participating.
Circonomit was founded by Dana Aleff and Erik Müller and builds on experience from industry and research at RWTH Aachen. With its user-friendly modelling toolkit, the company makes complex interdependencies in the value chain visible, calculable and controllable. Decision-makers can see within seconds what financial and environmental impact operational measures have, without having to carry out data projects lasting years. As a result, companies reduce costs, avoid long implementation times and regain their ability to steer their business.
With the fresh capital, Circonomit will expand its product team and accelerate its market development in the German-speaking region.
Dana Aleff on the collaboration: ‘The WSS Redpoint team has a great deal of experience and knowledge in venture capital, so we feel very well advised on every detail and trust in their expertise.’
WSS Redpoint has provided comprehensive advice to Circonomit on legal matters since its foundation. On the current financing round, Circonomit was advised by Peter Siedlatzek, Björn Brücher and Ebru Köroğlu (all three corporate law) and Bonny Kern (IT/IP, data protection).
