With around 350 employees, GRÜN offers B2B software for business-critical processes in companies and institutions across a range of industries and segments. Bundling different industry solutions creates many synergies in development and marketing as well as in building a digital ecosystem with interfaces between all of the GRÜN group’s industry solutions.
The bookhit software is a merchandise management and point-of-sale solution for bookshops and is currently used by around 500 shops in Germany and Austria, including Hugendubel, Tyrolia, Facultas, Wagnersche and the Hauptverband des österreichischen Buchhandels (Austrian book trade association). This makes the company one of the market leaders in Germany.
With the acquisition, GRÜN is continuing its strategy of building a strong group of companies with digitalisation solutions for the media industry. By adding the bookhit bookselling software, GRÜN can now offer a comprehensive software value chain for media companies.
