In a pre-Series A financing round, DABBEL – Automation Intelligence GmbH, a PropTech company from Düsseldorf, is receiving EUR 3.6 million from Target Global, Main Incubator, SeedX and business angels.

The forward-looking PropTech startup DABBEL has developed cloud-based AI software. It works as an add-on to the existing building management systems of commercial buildings and controls the building’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system autonomously and in real time. The system can cut energy consumption by up to 40% and reduce CO2 emissions enormously. The software’s savings potential has already been successfully demonstrated in several projects with, among others, GELSENWASSER AG and VINCI Facilities.

The company was founded in 2018 and serves customers on all continents, including E.ON, which has already invested in DABBEL, as well as other infrastructure and utility companies.

On the financing round, DABBEL was advised on behalf of WSS Redpoint by Björn Brücher as lead counsel.
