IonKraft offers a plasma-based coating technology for circular, high-barrier plastic packaging. A plasma-based coating process applies an ultra-thin, glass-like layer to the inside of containers. The fully automated process is scalable and can be integrated seamlessly into existing lines. The result is high-performance mono-material packaging that is fully recyclable and replaces multilayer composites or fluorination. This reduces the environmental impact per package by up to 50% and enables the use of recycled plastic.
